An unknown Ship's Figurehead Sailing ships were often adorned with a figurehead on the prow. This figurehead came from an unknown 19 th century sailing ship. Originally thought to have come from the Helen Denny (which was later found to be in a museum in Britain), this figurehead was restored by Stan Emmens. Museum collection |
